The official FEI Jumping World Championship entry list, published on the Aachen 2026 website, names Marek Lewicki (FEI ID 10002146) with his horse Quaid Casio as one of five Polish pairs. The Polish team's chef d'équipe is Maciej Wojciechowski.

The scale of the competition is significant. In show jumping alone, 50 nations, 166 riders, and 167 horses have been entered. The entire event, the FEI World Championships Aachen 2026, runs from August 11 to August 23, 2026, and includes six disciplines. According to official organizer information, over 800 athletes and horses from nearly 70 countries are participating.

Show jumping is the final discipline on the program and concludes the entire championship. This means that the Polish team enters the arena at a time when the Aachen stadium has already hosted nearly two weeks of championships.

Quaid Casio – Marek Lewicki's horse for Aachen 2026

According to FEI data, Quaid Casio (FEI ID 107QO48) is an eleven-year-old bay gelding, born on April 7, 2015, registered in the Hannoveraner Verband e.V. (HANN) studbook. In Aachen, he competes with number 530 under Marek Lewicki's name.

Beyond the registration details, it's worth adding context from the rider's environment. Marek Lewicki has been working with Quaid Casio for three years – this is a shared training achievement, not a newly formed pair. According to the rider, the horse is very social, enjoys interacting with people, is friendly, playful, and likes challenges.

This last characteristic is of practical importance in Aachen. The championship format requires the horse to compete in several events over five days, including a round held under artificial light. A horse that responds well to new stimuli has a real advantage in such conditions.

Marek Lewicki – Polish show jumper at Aachen 2026

Marek Lewicki is entered for the FEI Jumping World Championship Aachen 2026 as a representative of Poland, with one horse, in accordance with the championship regulations. The competitions in Aachen are held at world championship level, and participation requires meeting FEI qualification criteria. The first competition is open to riders entered as team or individual competitors, a maximum of four per federation, each with one horse.

In practice, this means there's no room for warming up through several starts in Aachen. The first competition on August 19 is simultaneously a team and individual qualifier, and each round influences the cumulative penalty points tallied until the end of the championships.

Marek Lewicki is an athlete supported by Equishop as part of the Equishop Team. This is not merely an image-related relationship: selecting equipment for a sports pair competing at this level is work we conduct continuously, throughout the season.

What equipment does Marek Lewicki use?

The equipment of an athlete competing in the world championships is not a matter of taste. It must withstand several competitions in a short period, maintain predictability, and require no adjustments on the day of competition. This is equipment previously tested in daily work — championships are not the place to test new products.

Marek Lewicki rides in a Renaissance F2 jumping saddle made of calf leather. It's worth adding context that well illustrates the rider's mindset: he was one of the first show jumpers to trust the Renaissance brand. In show jumping at a championship level, the saddle is responsible for the consistency of the rider's position in every round and for the pressure distribution on the horse's back throughout the competition week, which is why choosing a model is a decision for seasons, not for a single competition. Similar constructions can be found in our jumping saddles category, and an overview of all disciplines and types begins in the full saddle offer.

His head is protected by a KEP helmet. The riding boots Marek competes in are De Niro — boots that, under such competitive strain, must maintain the shape of the shaft and the calf's work without losing their form after a few days.

Aachen 2026 – Show Jumping at the World Championships

The FEI World Championships Aachen 2026 take place from August 11 to August 23, 2026. Show jumping is held in the Main Stadium according to the following schedule:

  • August 18 — open to the public, commented training of all riders on a course consisting of approximately eight obstacles, including a combination
  • August 19, 09:30–17:20 — first competition, team and individual qualification (Turkish Airlines-Prize), a speed class where faults are converted into seconds added to the course time
  • August 20, 09:00–17:10 — first round of the second competition (Mercedes-Benz Prize)
  • August 21, 18:50–22:50 — second round under artificial light, team medals decided
  • August 23, 14:20–17:20 — individual final (LONGINES-Prize), individual medals decided

The format is merciless towards errors. The top ten teams and top sixty riders advance to the second round of the second competition. The team result is calculated from the sum of penalty points of the three best riders from each team in the first competition and the three best in each of the two rounds of the second competition. In the individual final, Round A is open to the top twenty-five pairs, and Round B to the top twelve.

Marek Lewicki and Quaid Casio can therefore start from August 19, and their further participation depends on the balance of penalty points after subsequent competitions.
