New developments in the world of equestrianism always generate enormous interest and excitement. Without a doubt, one of our most eagerly anticipated events was the testing of the new Prestige Italia saddles with innovative AS-X technology, which recently took place at prestigious equestrian centers – Team Kowalski Dressage Stable and Barłomino Stable.
The latest Rubino and Brillante saddle models have not only captured the attention of professional riders but also sparked interest among all equestrian enthusiasts. In today's article, we'll present a summary of the consultations on the new Prestige Italia saddles, along with a full photo report of these extraordinary events!

Team Kowalski Dressage Stable – first tests of the Prestige Italia AS-X
On March 18, 2024, we had the opportunity to present the latest Prestige Italia saddle models at the Team Kowalski Dressage Stable . The event was attended by saddlefitters, trainers, physiotherapists, riders, and our Equishop sales department. In addition to a detailed presentation of the new saddles, our riders had the opportunity to test the Prestige Italia Rubino and Brillante AS-X saddles for the first time.

The AS-X saddles with a saddle tree met the high demands of professionals, providing riders with comfort and convenience during test rides. During the consultation, special attention was paid to the freedom and precision of movements in the saddle, as well as the ability to transmit subtle signals to the horse. Prestige Italia AS-X saddles are characterized not only by excellent stability but also by the flexibility associated with a movable saddle tree that follows the horse's movement.

Barłomino Equestrian Sports Club – under the supervision of professionals
The next tests of the new Prestige Italia saddles with AS-X technology took place on April 15, 2024, at the Barłomino Stable. We would like to sincerely thank the stable managers, Martyna Nicpoń and Adam Nicpoń, for their hospitality. Under the guidance of experienced saddlefitter Katarzyna Czaprańska, riders had the opportunity to test the new Rubino jumping saddle model. A consultation on the Brillante AS-X dressage saddle is also planned for this year, which we will announce soon.

The innovative AS-X saddle tree became the focal point of the discussion. Riders' feedback was positive – Prestige Italia saddles with AS-X technology worked in harmony with the horse's anatomy. Experienced rider and trainer Adam Nicpoń also noted that Prestige Italia AS-X saddles performed well during riding, on both young and older horses. Each horse tested displayed good back movement and was eager to jump. The exchange of experiences between riders during the tests was extremely valuable, allowing for a comprehensive evaluation of the new saddles and the technological solutions incorporated within them.

Martyna Nicpoń, a trainer and rider competing nationally and internationally, also shared her impressions with us during the meeting. Her initial impressions were very positive, as the Rubino saddle proved to be extremely comfortable to use. Despite being new, the saddle holds the rider perfectly and provides great comfort while riding and jumping. Martyna Nicpoń also noted that the Rubino AS-X saddle fits the horse perfectly. Furthermore, the mare participating in the test immediately began to cooperate with the saddle. Martyna Nicpoń also noted that the Rubino saddle's movable tree prevents the horse's shoulder from locking during turns. According to Martyna, the Rubino saddle works well with horses that are more impulsive, helping them better understand the rider's intentions.
