The Renaissance was designed to give you a feeling of unity with your horse, as if there were almost no saddle between you. The thin, light front keeps you close to the horse, you feel its every movement, and your aids reach it directly and without intermediary.

The flexible front and blocks that are not stitched in front do not restrict the shoulder blade during approach and push-off. The horse has full freedom of forehand movement and jumps cleaner, because nothing limits its natural motion.

What is X-Technology in the X-Perience saddle?

This Prestige Italia solution is used in the tree. Two injected membranes in the back of the tree, in the area of the rider's ischial bones, increase riding comfort and stability, as well as the feeling of closeness to the horse. This is not the same as AS-X - X-Perience does not have an adaptive joint.

How do the MD and MF seats in the X-Perience saddle differ?

MD (medium deep) means a deeper seat, for a more centered, "seated" position. MF (medium flat) is flatter and allows for greater freedom of movement. The difference genuinely changes the balance during take-off and landing - that's why it's best to choose the depth with a saddle fitter.

How to care for an X-Perience saddle?

A saddle made of calfskin requires regular cleaning and oiling with dedicated leather care products. It is advisable to avoid aggressive cosmetics, as they can damage the leather and cause the saddle to lose its colour. The frequency of care depends on the conditions of use and the intensity of training, which is why a saddle used more often and in harsher conditions requires more frequent care. Periodic fitting checks by a saddle fitter are also recommended, as a horse's back changes with training, diet, and age.

For which rider is X-Perience for?

For riders who seek a stable seat and close contact. With two seat depths, a wider base, and a unisex design, it suits various rider body types – including those with wider hips.

For what kind of horse is X-Perience?

With five panel versions and a gullet width range of 31 to 37, the X-Perience offers extensive customization options to suit different horse anatomies. Whether and in which configuration it fits a specific horse is determined by a saddle fitter's measurement and assessment.

How can I test a Prestige saddle?

You can test a Prestige saddle in two ways. The first is a visit with our saddle fitting expert to your stable, during which you will receive a consultation and check the saddle's fit for both horse and rider on site. The second way is to rent a saddle for a 7-day trial after paying a deposit, allowing you to calmly assess the saddle in your daily work with your horse before making a purchase decision.

How to choose the size and depth of the seat in X-Perience?

Seat size (16", 17", 18"), depth (MD/MF), panels, blocks and gullet width are selected by the saddle fitter during the visit – to match the rider's build, their needs and the horse's morphology. These variables cannot be accurately determined from a description.

Is the X-Perience saddle covered by a warranty?

Yes. The tree is covered by a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer Prestige Italia, and the leather by a 2-year warranty. Please note that fitting and wear parts, such as the wool flocking of the panels, require periodic servicing and are not covered by the warranty – this is a natural part of saddle use.
