The foot works in the flight and landing phase, and the upper does not resist. The heel will go down when you need it - without losing leg stability.
Vibram® sole
You don't just ride in tall boots – you walk in them on concrete, cobblestones, and wet stable floors. Vibram® provides grip and cushioning even when you're on the ground. And it doesn't buckle under the stirrup, so your foot has even support instead of point pressure.
Lock block and heel protection
The lock holds the zipper in place throughout the course. The inside of the boot is lined with a leather insert. It will be easier to zip up, and your heel is protected from chafing – even during the break-in period, when the leather is still stiff.

Measuring outfit
Come in breeches and tall socks - we measure exactly as you ride. If you're in different attire, we'll equip you on site.
Measurement
We take measurements of both legs in accordance with DeNiro standards. Please allow at least an hour for the measurement appointment.
Configuration and quote
You choose the model, leather, color, stitching, crystals, and toe caps. You receive an initial quote.
Email confirmation
Before shipping your order, the final quote, design visualization, and summary will be sent to you via email.
Deposit and fulfillment
Confirmation of dimensions, configuration, and a 50% deposit will initiate production. The lead time for custom-made dress boots is 4–6 weeks.

How to order custom-made riding boots?
We start making custom-made DeNiro riding boots with a precise measurement. If you want to have it done in our showroom, please come at least one hour before closing time, so that we have enough time to calmly take the appropriate measurements. It is best to come for the measurement in the breeches and riding socks you most often ride in. Our experts will take care of the rest - we will take the necessary measurements and help you go through the boot configuration. No specific attire is required; you will be provided with appropriate clothing on site for trying on the boots. Do you prefer to have the measurement taken directly at your stable? Do the riding boots slouch?
Leather is a material that works – under the influence of movement and heat it molds to the leg, and the shaft drops by about 2 cm. New tall boots are therefore intentionally taller and stiffer than they will be after the break-in period. A boot that initially lightly touches the back of the knee usually settles into place after a dozen rides. Therefore, do not choose a shorter variant "just in case" and do not plan your first ride in new tall boots before a competition.
How long does it take to break in officer boots?
There's no single answer, as it all depends on how much you ride. The leather molds to your leg according to your training rhythm – if you're in the saddle every day and switching from horse to horse, your riding boots might break in after just a week. If you ride two or three times a week, this process will take several weeks, and sometimes several months. During this time, the leather softens around the ankle, the shaft drops by about 1-2 cm, and the boot starts to fit your leg as it should. Therefore, don't plan your first ride in new boots for the day before a competition – give yourself a few relaxed training sessions. The heel is lined with a leather insert inside, which protects it from chafing precisely when the leather is still stiff.
Can I ride in new tall boots in a competition?
You can, but we don't recommend it. New leather is stiff, the upper hasn't softened yet, and the boot hasn't conformed to your foot – at the competition, you'll be thinking about your ankle instead of your ride. Give yourself a few calm training sessions in new tall boots before competing. Also, remember that custom boots take 4-6 weeks to produce, plus a breaking-in period, so order well in advance of the season.
How to measure your calf?
Standing, in breeches and high riding socks, with your body weight on both legs. Wrap the tape measure around the widest part of your calf, usually 3–5 cm below the bend of the knee. The tape should be snug, but not digging into the muscle. Do not flex your calf. Measure both legs – for variant selection, use the measurement of the larger calf.
How to measure calf height?
Sit down, placing your foot flat on the floor with your knee bent at a right angle. Measure from the floor up the outside of your calf to the bend in your knee. Measuring with your leg straight while standing will give a result a few centimetres too long - your leg is bent in the saddle. Also, remember that riding boots are made of leather, and this material stretches - boots will drop by +/- 2 cm.
What if I'm between sizes?
First, check your measurement technique – most “in-between” results are due to measuring while seated, without riding socks, or with a tensed muscle. If the measurement is confirmed, the choice depends on the model and cut, so there's no single rule here. Send us three measurements and the model name – we'll indicate an option or suggest Made to Measure.
What should I do if I'm not sure about the size?
You don't have to decide this alone. Reading the chart for a customer is a standard part of our job, not a favor – and we do it every day for riding boots. You have three options: Remotely - send us three numbers: foot size, calf circumference, and shaft height. We will read the chart and provide the specific variant designation. At the store - come for a fitting to our Fitting Center at Oświęcimska 9 in Ruda Śląska. We will assess your leg, and you can compare models and shaft stiffness in person. At your stable - order our fitter, and we will take measurements on-site. When purchasing in this price range, pre-order consultation is the cheapest part of the entire process. We want you to make the best choice.
Can I return custom-made riding boots?
No. Custom-made riding boots are an individual order based on your configuration and measurements. Therefore, according to our terms and conditions, they are not subject to return or exchange. Once the terms are approved and the down payment is made, the design cannot be changed. This is why, before production, you receive an email summarizing the measurements, configuration, and quote for your approval—nothing moves forward until you confirm it.
