Jumping Saddle Billet Replacement

Jumping Saddle Billet Replacement is an Equishop service for replacing worn, stretched or damaged girth straps, also known as billets. We fit the new billets using the correct attachment method to preserve the saddle's proper function.

Price: PLN 150 for one billet, PLN 350 for 3 billets on one side, or PLN 600 for the full set of 6. Your chosen transport charge is added to the service price: no charge for personal drop-off and collection, PLN 50 for one-way courier delivery, or PLN 100 for courier transport both ways.

When should you replace the billets on a jumping saddle?

Replacement is appropriate when the billets are worn, stretched or damaged. We agree the scope of work after assessing all 6 billets on the saddle.

We strongly recommend replacing the full set of 6 billets, or at least all 3 on one side. Although single-billet replacement is available for PLN 150, we strongly advise against choosing this option.

Used billets stretch and change over time. A new billet may therefore differ from the others in length, elasticity and the way it behaves under load. Replacing the full set, or all the billets on one side, helps keep their characteristics as consistent as possible.

Choose the replacement scope

• One billet — PLN 150. Replacement of a single girth strap. Available, but strongly discouraged because of the differences between a new billet and the used ones.
• One side of the saddle — PLN 350. Replacement of all 3 billets on the left or right side. This is the minimum scope we recommend.
• Whole saddle — PLN 600. Replacement of the full set of 6 billets across both sides. This is our recommended option and costs PLN 100 less than ordering each side separately.

We confirm the final scope of work after assessing all the billets.

Service prices including transport

With the one-way courier option, you arrange delivery to our service centre yourself. Equishop sends the saddle back to you after the work is complete.

How does billet replacement work?

1. Select the replacement scope and transport option. For one-side replacement, tell us whether you mean the left or right side. For a single replacement, identify the billet concerned.
2. Send or bring your saddle to Equishop Service Centre, ul. Oświęcimska 9, Ruda Śląska, Poland.
3. We assess all the billets, explain our recommendations and agree the scope of work.
4. We fit the new billets using the correct attachment method to preserve the saddle's proper function.
5. Collect your saddle in person or have it returned according to your chosen transport option.

How much does billet replacement on a jumping saddle cost?
