Saddle panel levelling corrects unevenly distributed or compacted wool flocking in both saddle panels. At Equishop, we provide this service for Prestige Italia and Renaissance saddles to restore the panels' shape and symmetry. We assess the saddle's construction and condition before determining what work can be carried out.

Service price: PLN 600. Turnaround: within 48 hours of the saddle arriving at our service centre. Transit time is additional. This service is available for wool-flocked panels only.

When should you have your saddle panels checked?

Uneven flocking can affect saddle stability and pressure distribution across your horse's back. Have the panels assessed if:

• you can feel lumps or compacted areas in the flocking;
• the panels differ in shape, height or resilience;
• the saddle sits unevenly or slips to one side.

These signs do not necessarily mean that the panels need levelling. Your saddle's fit to your horse requires a separate assessment by a saddle fitter; adjusting the flocking is not a substitute for that assessment.

What does saddle panel levelling involve?

We inspect the saddle's construction and the condition of both panels, then determine the adjustments needed to the wool flocking. The work redistributes the flocking to restore the panels' shape and symmetry. Whether the service can be carried out depends on the condition of the individual saddle.

Panel levelling, flocking top-up or panel pressing?

These services address different maintenance needs:

• Panel levelling focuses on adjusting the distribution of wool flocking in both panels.
• Saddle flocking top-up includes adding wool where needed, replacing compacted sections and levelling the panels.
• Saddle panel pressing mechanically shapes the panel surface to reduce unevenness, creases and wrinkles.

• PLN 650 — one-way courier delivery: Equishop sends your saddle back to you;
• PLN 700 — courier transport both ways.
