Component Replacement for Prestige Italia or Renaissance Saddles

Replacing worn saddle components restores your equipment without buying a new saddle. Girth straps, worn seat leather and compacted panels can be replaced. We use genuine manufacturer parts at the authorised Prestige Italia service centre in Poland, operated by Equirria sp. z o.o. in Ruda Śląska.

Turnaround: 2–4 weeks. Component replacement requires us to order genuine parts and work with the Prestige Italia workshop, so it takes longer than other Equishop saddle services.

Which saddle components can be replaced?

• Saddle tree: the structural base of the saddle, replaced after mechanical damage.
• Integrated and separate panels: these determine how pressure is distributed across the horse's back.
• Panel filling: complete replacement of compacted or uneven filling.
• Saddle flaps: replacement of the set, including flaps with integrated panels.
• Seat leather: restoring grip and appearance to one of the saddle's most heavily used areas.
• Girth straps: safety-related components replaced when stretched or visibly worn.
• Knee rolls: replacing worn supports or changing their size.
• Stirrup bars.
• Rear binding: the trim around the back of the seat.

When is replacing a component better than buying a new saddle?

A quality saddle has replaceable components. A sound tree and good leather can outlast several sets of panels or girth straps, so replacing an individual part often costs only a small proportion of a new saddle's price. Replacement is particularly worthwhile when the saddle's structure remains sound but a particular component is worn, or when the horse's shape has changed and the panels or supports need adjusting while you retain a familiar saddle.

We work directly with the manufacturer, using genuine Prestige Italia parts, tools and procedures. For unusual cases, we consult the workshop in Trissino. This helps ensure the serviced saddle meets factory standards and that authorised work preserves the manufacturer's warranty.

How to send or bring in your saddle

Choose one of two options when ordering:

• Drop-off and collection in person: bring your saddle to Ruda Śląska and collect it after servicing, with no additional transport charge.
• Courier collection (contact required): we arrange transport and contact you after ordering to agree a collection date. The surcharge is shown when you select the option.

Clean the saddle before bringing it in. For courier transport, protect it in a box or transport cover. The shop's free-delivery offer does not apply to service orders.

How long does saddle component replacement take?

Usually 2–4 weeks from arrival at Equishop Service Centre. Genuine parts must be ordered from the manufacturer, so this takes longer than other services. We confirm the timing after inspecting the saddle and checking parts availability.

Does replacing a component invalidate the saddle's warranty?

No, when the work is performed by an authorised service centre using genuine manufacturer parts. Repairs outside the authorised network or using third-party parts may limit warranty coverage.

How do I know which component needs replacing?

Contact us before ordering if you are unsure. We inspect the saddle and identify what actually needs replacement. Sometimes a flocking adjustment is sufficient instead of new panels.

Can several components be replaced together?

Does the saddle need a fitting check afterwards?

We recommend a fitting check after replacing panels, filling, the tree or flaps, as these changes affect how the saddle sits on the horse's back.
