Our helmet component replacement service is exclusively for KEP Italia helmets, the brand in our range designed for component replacement by an authorised service centre. Equishop specialists carry out the work with genuine tools supplied by KEP Italia. The component must be purchased from Equishop, either with a new helmet or separately for a helmet you already own.

Why KEP Italia?
KEP Italia helmets have a modular design: certain components can be replaced without interfering with the shell or buying a new helmet. Many other riding helmets do not offer this option, so a worn or damaged component may mean replacing the whole helmet.
There are limits to modular construction: not every KEP helmet component can be replaced. This depends on the design of the specific model and version. If unsure, contact us before buying. We will check compatibility and help you avoid ordering an unsuitable part.
Two ways to use this service
We fit only components purchased from Equishop:

In both cases, the part must be purchased from us. We do not fit components from other sources because we cannot confirm their authenticity or compatibility with your model. For protective equipment, these checks are essential.
Genuine tools and trained specialists
Replacing a KEP helmet component may look straightforward, but requires the correct tools and knowledge of the model's construction. We use tools supplied by KEP Italia and follow the manufacturer's procedures.

Replacing components does not restore a helmet's protective properties after an accident. A helmet involved in a fall or impact should be replaced regardless of its external appearance, even when there are no visible marks. Tell us when ordering if you have concerns about the shell's condition.

- Bring or send your helmet to our service centre. This is unnecessary when buying a component with a new helmet, as we fit it before dispatch.
- Collect or receive your helmet. We confirm completion timing after receiving it and checking parts availability.
Protect the helmet in its original box or bag for shipping. Loose packing can cause new scratches during transit. The shop's free delivery and returns offers do not apply to service orders.
