What makes Renaissance jumping saddles stand out?

Behind every Renaissance is the saddlery tradition and nearly 30 years of our saddle fitting practice. We know what a jumping saddle requires for daily training and on a large showjumping course. Here are three things that both horse and rider feel in a Renaissance saddle.

Close contact, quiet communication
01
Close contact, quiet communication
Close contact is the foundation of the Renaissance philosophy. The slim, flexible saddle flap ensures that the rider’s leg works right against the horse's side. The smaller the distance, the more subtle the aids become, and communication with the horse becomes quiet and precise. It's a conversation held in hushed tones, rather than strong, clear signals.
Freedom that wins

Freedom that wins
Performance in top-level sport begins with the horse's freedom of movement. The flexible front of the Renaissance saddle gives the shoulder the freedom it needs during the approach and over the obstacle, allowing the horse to work with its forehand more boldly and jump cleaner. This is one of the three values on which Renaissance bases its philosophy: performance, close contact, and ideal balance, without compromise between them.
A foundation that doesn't fail
03
A foundation that doesn't fail
The foundation is a light, durable synthetic tree. It does not require metal reinforcements and does not deform due to moisture, thanks to which it maintains the same balanced shape for years. This is stability that is appreciated every day, though only noticed when it's gone.
FITTED TO THE HORSE'S BACK

A horse won't tell you if something is limiting it.
It will show you in the arena.

A shortened stride, delayed push-off, resistance to greater effort – these are signals from the horse that something is restricting its movement. The Renaissance jumping saddle was designed to avoid causing these signals, instead allowing the horse freedom of movement in every phase of the jump.

Close contact

The Renaissance was designed to give you a feeling of unity with your horse, as if there were almost no saddle between you. The thin, light front keeps you close to the horse, you feel its every movement, and your aids reach it directly and without intermediary.

2

Scapular mobility

The flexible front and blocks that are not stitched in front do not restrict the shoulder blade during approach and push-off. The horse has full freedom of forehand movement and jumps cleaner, because nothing limits its natural motion.

3

Panels chosen for the horse

Renaissance offers a wide selection of panels: latex panels in several variants, including the wider Sublime, and flocked wool panels in many configurations. This allows us to choose the filling and fit precisely for your horse's back.

The saddle should end where the last rib ends, leaving the lumbar region free.

ITALIAN PRECISION, FRENCH STYLE

Renaissance Trees: simplicity and high performance

Renaissance is born from the encounter of the French saddlery school with Prestige Italia engineering. The foundation of this jumping saddle is a modern tree made of a pioneering blend of synthetic fibers - it is responsible for the lightness, durability, and balance by which Renaissance is known.

Personalization

Your style, your horse's comfort

With Renaissance, you choose the type of leather and color that give the saddle its character, while a wide selection of panels ensures a proper fit for your horse. The rest is taken care of by our team of saddle-fitting experts, who travel to every stable in Poland and select the configuration with your horse, in motion. It is these panels, available in many latex and wool variants, that allow the filling to be precisely fitted to your horse's back. And various seat depths mean you can also adapt the saddle to your own riding style.
